Course 20331B – Core Solutions of SharePoint Server 2013
This course provides an introduction to planning, deploying, configuring, maintaining, and tuning a
SharePoint 2013 farm. Students will learn how to plan a SharePoint deployment, including the
information, logical, and physical architectures. Students will also learn how to deploy a SharePoint farm, and then how to monitor and tune a farm after deployment.
Course 20332B – Advanced Solutions of SharePoint Server 2013
This course describes how to plan and configure advanced features in SharePoint Server 2013. The course includes broad architectural and design-based content, including disaster recovery and high availability, which underpins much of the knowledge required to manage a SharePoint deployment. The course covers the various SharePoint 2013 workloads, for example, collaboration, productivity, and social computing. The course then covers how to manage extensions and customizations. Finally, this course covers planning and implementing governance, and upgrading SharePoint.
Course 20488B – Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions
This course teaches students the core skills that are common to almost all SharePoint development
activities. These include working with the server-side and client-side object models, developing and
deploying features, solutions, and apps, managing identity and permissions, querying and updating list
data, managing taxonomy, using workflow to manage business processes, and customizing the user
interface.
Course 20489B – Developing SharePoint Server 2013 Advanced Solutions
This course teaches students how to apply their core SharePoint development skills to more advanced
SharePoint development projects. Students learn how to develop solutions and apps that interact with the key SharePoint 2013 workloads, including the search service, enterprise content management
functionality, Business Connectivity Services, social functionality and user profiles, and web content
management features. Students also learn more advanced SharePoint development techniques such as how to optimize SharePoint code and how to monitor and troubleshoot custom SharePoint components.
